REDBOX: Rent, Stream & Buy App Reviews

Message in apps menu does not display anything on iPhone.

The app worked ONCE, temporarily after a spate of error messages. This update did NOT correct the issue.

App no longer works. Immediately crashes every time.

I like this App because before we purchase a movie were able to preview it on the app faster also to see whats coming soon

Wont update! Stays greyed out, deleted the app and reinstalled. Wont download fully get a error please fix!

It would be nice to see games/movies that youve rented (in the past) within the app. Allowing customers to see games/movies on hold to be picked up after youve paid would be great as well. If you wanted to cancel a pickup/hold, how can you do this as well? Also, the ability to comment on/review movies watched as well as games played would definitely make this app 5 stars. Other than that...easy to maneuver just would be an all-in-one shop for Redbox users. Thanks!

This app at one time was awesome. The current version locks up when you try to select a kiosk. It doesnt matter if the kiosk is saved or found through a search. The screen will say loading and never change. This happens about 60% of the time when using the app. If this gets fixed Id give it five stars and since the redbox has completely replaced the "video store" I dont think this is to much to ask.

It wont load

I was disappointed at "straight outta Compton" the story was okay, but that certainly is not music! Rappers dont play instruments, and nothing but horrible foul language! No wonder they didnt get an Oscar!!!

The app broke recently and now I cannot even get it to install.

Simple, easy, straightforward! This app is great. BUT...... The security system password requirements are waaaaay too much and the maximum login attempts before being locked out is two. Thats right, you put in the wrong password twice you have to wait 30 minutes. Who the hell cares about redbox security THAT much? Come on. If someone hacks my account the only thing they can do is rent movies..... Until I change the password/credit card info. Come on guys. Lighten up. Its movie rentals, not my credit card statement.

Since the upgrade, I get messages for movie suggestions or deals and sales but cannot view them on the app like I used to. I just get a blank screen. Also allow iPad users the ability to used landscape mode.

Itd be alot better if it had the buy option on the movies for sale.

New Games take days to appear in app, unlike the desktop site.

The app forced me to enter a new email address and change my password. Since I only wanted one email address attached to my Redbox account, I deleted the app and will just go through their website as I have been doing. Lame that I cant just keep the same email address Ive been using all along.

What a great app & way to rent movies. I have been s long time fan of Redbox!! The good times have out weighed the bad. This app is GREAT!! Easy to read, nice trailers & a lot of fun to use. Very IPhone 6 friendly. Take your time & learn the app. Redbox bravo my friends!!!!

This app needs a major update! It doesnt even add my rental points to my pass! Transactions doesnt even show up!!!! Useless app!

Not sure why everyone rates it low. Been using it for years and with all the updates, still works like a champ. Saves me soooo much time from doing that waiting/searching at the kiosk. I suggest for those low raters to remove app then reinstall. Not sure about iPad but the iPhone version is Fantastic! Thanks Redbox, keep it going!

Ive never been able to use this app. Itll be on the load page to find a kiosk so long that it times out.... EVERY SINGLE TIME. I hate trying to use this app...I keep thinking maybe its been fixed, but never have any luck using it. Please do something to improve it so that it makes it worth having. Id be renting a lot more movies if I could get this app to work.

iPhone app is dumb. Needs a find nearby search button.
