It was a time saver. Now it doesnt work. Says theres, "an error, try again later." Later has now been a few months. So, I have little incentive to go to the box location and waste time, so I just dont go anymore (or much less often than when the app worked).
I dont even want to give red box a 1 star rating they dont even deserve that. I have been using redbox for years and I have finally had an issue with the amount I was charged. So I called to dispute it and the lady explained her name was Anna. We proceeded through the phone call I understood what she was saying besides the fact that she said I was being charged penalties. Once this was said I asked to speak to a manager and she denied me that right and treated me as if I was a moron that dont understand what was happening and how they were robbing me she continued to treat me like a child and kept refusing me the manager then hung up on me so unprofessional so this is how red box trains there employees to treat customers I will never do business with them again once she hung up on me I called back and was put on hold for a hour to speak to a manager and she was not manager material at all did nothing to resolve the issues or correct the way her employee treated me I asked for a refund for all the trouble and how I was treated and was denied that as well after dealing with all these issues I will never do business with them again and anyone who does I feel sorry them because they will steal youre money as well and charge you penalties charge you 50$ for two day rentals wow good job red box you are a horrible business!!!!!
Ok, I get its nice to get a free movie night. I just wish it didnt always seem to be a weekday night :( Some people have to get up real early. Fri eve and Sat would be great.
Whenever I try to use the app recently, it says "performing scheduled maintenance". Ive used Redbox for many years and never had this problem. Website works, why not the app?
Everything works flawlessly for me. Easy to search titles and find which kiosks currently have what I am looking for. I use the wish list extensively and get email notifications when my new releases become available.
Im frustrated with the condescending "Sorry, it looks like something went wrong..." message for the past week.

No way to rate a movie on the app. Sometimes wants you to drive much further than you need to.
I like redbox a lot Ive always had a good experience but please stop telling me my location service is off! I know its off I turned it off and I want it off.
